Patient Care Coordinator – Adult
Our dental practice is looking to add to our amazing team!
We are seeking a dependable, dedicated and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our busy dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless patient experience by providing patient support in a dental office setting. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an excellent customer service.
The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for handling patient finances at the time of service, welcoming patients with engaging, welcoming and warm manner, scheduling appointments in a dental software, answering calls, and assisting with various administrative tasks to enhance the overall efficiency of our practice.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of time slots.
- Manage the doctors and clinicians daily schedules.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist patients with inquiries regarding their care and office policies.
- Coordinate communication between patients and dental providers to facilitate effective care.
- Prepare daily collection sheets
- Follow up on broken appointments
Schedule: In office position only
This position is full time, 39 hours a week 8:00am to 5:00pm, lunch is 1PM-2PM. One day a week you will be scheduled to leave at 4pm.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a DENTAL OFFICE is HIGHLY preferred.
- Familiarity with dental and administrative support tasks is essential.
- Business professional
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical administration is a plus.
